Every day on the water is different. Our charters typically explore the waters, islands, and sandbars around Honeymoon Island, but specific destinations cannot be guaranteed. Weather, tides, water conditions, and other safety considerations may cause Captain Mark to adjust the route to provide the safest and most enjoyable experience possible.

What charter lengths do you offer?+

We offer 2-hour, 4-hour, and 6-hour private charters: the 2-Hour Sandbar & Swim Charter ($329), the 4-Hour Island & Sandbar Adventure ($519), and the 6-Hour Custom Island Adventure ($749).

Is the price per person?+

No. Pricing is for the entire private charter for up to 6 guests — one price, your whole crew. With a full boat of six guests that works out to roughly $55, $87, or $125 per person, but those are just examples — we never charge per person.

How many people can come?+

Up to 6 guests per private charter. The whole boat is yours — never shared with strangers.

Are there age restrictions?+

No — all ages are welcome. Kids and grandparents alike enjoy the calm, shallow waters around the sandbars.

What time do charters leave?+

Trips can begin as early as 9:00 AM. The latest departure depends on your charter length — 5:00 PM for the 2-hour, 3:00 PM for the 4-hour, and 1:00 PM for the 6-hour — and every charter is back at the dock by 8:00 PM. Available departure times depend on charter duration and existing bookings on the day's schedule.

Can we bring food and drinks?+

Yes — guests may bring snacks, food, and drinks. No glass, please.

Can you guarantee Honeymoon Island or a specific sandbar?+

No. Those are typical destinations, but specific islands and sandbars cannot be guaranteed. Weather, tides, water conditions, and other safety considerations may cause Captain Mark to adjust the route.

Will we see dolphins?+

Dolphins are commonly seen in Clearwater's waterways — keep your eyes on the water! But they're wild animals, so sightings can't be guaranteed.

What's included?+

Every charter includes a licensed local captain, fuel, required safety equipment, a cooler with ice, bottled water, a Bluetooth sound system, and the private boat for your group of up to 6 guests.

Where do Salt & Sand Adventures charters depart from?+

We depart from 663 Bay Esplanade, Clearwater Beach, Florida. Exact slip and parking details are provided when you book.

Do I need any boating experience?+

None at all. Captain Mark is a licensed captain and handles everything. Just show up, relax, and enjoy the ride.

What if the weather is bad?+

Captain Mark monitors conditions closely and your safety comes first. If weather makes the trip unsafe, we'll reschedule at no charge or issue a full refund. Light rain doesn't usually cancel a trip — Florida showers pass quickly.

What's your cancellation policy?+

Full refund if you cancel at least 72 hours before departure. Within 72 hours, we'll do our best to reschedule you to another day. Weather cancellations are always fully refunded.
